RIP Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs, cofundador de Apple Inc, ha fallecido hoy a la edad de 56 años. Sin duda las noticias vuelan y las redes sociales, especialmente Twitter, se han hecho eco de la noticia en unos pocos instantes. Tras visitar distintas fuentes durante unos minutos, he comprobado en la propia página de Apple que es totalmente oficial. Nos ha dejado una de las personas más poderosas del mundo, en la posición número 17 según la conocida compañía Forbes. Y me atrevería a vaticinar que mañana aparecerá en portada de casi todos los periódicos del mundo, no es para menos.

Personalmente, nunca había sido seguidor de Apple hasta hace unos pocos meses, pero la reciente compra de mi primer producto de ésta empresa me ha hecho estar más al tanto de todo lo que le acontece. No cabe duda de que la muerte de Steve Jobs supone una gran pérdida para el mundo de las computadoras y del mundo empresarial. Alguien que consiguió levantar una empresa hasta donde está ahora mismo empujando desde el principio merece elogios. Ha estado ahí pisando fuerte hasta el final, pese a que su reciente cáncer de páncreas limitara sus posibilidades.

Siempre se habla mejor de alguien después de muerto, pero creo que esta vez lo merece. Un poco amargo es que este acontecimiento se haya convertido en trending topic número 1 mundial, pero así es como funciona el mundo a día de hoy. Esperemos que esté plácidamente pululando por sus iClouds. A 5 de Octubre de 2011, Steve le ha dado su último mordisco a la manzana.

Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple Inc., passed away today at the age of 56. Obviously news travel fast and the social networks, especially Twitter, have echoed this new in a few seconds. After checking out a couple of sources, I have read in the Apple web itself that is totally official. Has died one of the most powerful humans, in the 17th position as it states the well known Forbes company. And I would dare to guess that tomorrow this will be published in the front page of every single newspaper in the world, it's the least that could happen.

Personally, I hadn't been a devote follower of Apple until a few months ago, but the recent purchase of my first product of this company has made me to be up on the latest news. It's a fact that the death of Steve Jobs means a great loss for the computer and the business world. Somebody that managed to raise a company to where it is right now, working from the beginning is really praiseworthy. He has been making a big impact until the end, despite his recent pancreatic cancer that limited his energy.

It's widely known that the best words about somebody are said after his or her death, but I think this time he deserves it. It's also a little bitter how this event has become the first world trending topic, but this is how the world works nowadays. We hope that he is peacefully wandering around his iClouds. At October the 5th, 2011, Steve has made his last bite to the Apple.
